My beautiful daughter Ana, informed me last night that she will be soon moving to New York City having landed a new job there. She had been looking for a while to move to the States and it is like everything in life, you don't start to believe it is happening until it is actually happening and the wheel is in motion. Nevertheless, I couldn't help remembering Gibran Khalil Gibran's words in "The Prophet" where he shares his insight on children:
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
" Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of to-morow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bow from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrow may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness;
For even He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable. "
And with that, I can only rejoice for my beautiful Ana as she walks fearless and tall on the path she is manifesting every step of the way.
And for my other two children, Maria and Max, I wish from all my heart for Their Heart's Dreams to come true.

And for ALL the children of the world, I pray they always feel loved, supported and cared for by Life itself as it wraps its arms around them with every step they take.
